Application 1. Mix CRISTALLFUGE with clean water in a clean mixing bucket. Add 1.25-1.5 l water depending on the desired consistency and the type of ceramic to be joined, add 5 kg CRISTALLFUGE (5.0–6.0 l water for 20 kg CRISTALLFUGE), and then stir into a homogeneous, smooth compound. We recommend mixing with a suitable stirrer. After an activation time of 4 min., the joint mortar is stirred again. In order to avoid colour differences, the mix ratio must always be kept the same. 2. CRISTALLFUGE is added to the wall or floor areas with a suitable jointing board and pulled diagonally to the joint cleanly, so that the joint cross-section is filled completely. Do not scatter dry joint mortar powder. 3. After applying the joint mortar (control via finger test), wash the surface first with a moist sponge board. After approx. 5–15 minutes, depending on the absorbency of the covering, wash after cleanly with the sponge board.

Application • After the bedding mortar sets, scratch out the joints sufficiently deep. • Next, clean the tiled finish sufficiently damp. • The bedding mortar must be fully set, since otherwise discolourations in the grout finish could result. • Pre-moisten strongly absorbing coverings with water equally. • Joint edges must be clean and free of separating substances. • The time of grouting of the tiles set in the thin-bed depends on the thinbed mortar and amounts to approx. 3 to 72 hours. In case of thick-bed laying, the mortar bed must be sufficiently firm and equally dry. • Do not grout on surfaces with different surfaces temperatures (e.g. due to sun exposure). • The consistency of joint mortar must be specified depending on the absorbency of the covering and substrate to be grouted.
