SCHOMBURG hosts Architect's forum in Eastern Europe

At the present time we are carrying out two large projects in white Russia. With the Minsk Aquapark and the Freestyle Centre (also in Minsk) we are extending our international references. In the context of these projects we arranged a swimming pool forum on the 17.06.13 in the white Russian "Johannes Rau" Business Centre.

The main topics were waterproofing in combination with tiles when constructing swimming pools. Guest speakers were also invited. Igor Sementsov from Agrob Buchtal reported on the construction of varied edge details in swimming pools and introduced the new Agrob Buchtal product range. Further presenatations were on the topics "water preparation" and "standards". In addition international references from our project management "swimming pool construction" were introduced. Following the interesting technical presentations there was an exciting discussion, at which no questions remained unanswered.

Among the almost 80 guests were Architects, Planners, Managing Directors of Contracting companies and Swimming Pool and Sauna operating companies. A range of representatives from the authorities and other official posts joined in as well as various journalists from the technical press.

The newly arranged event was extremely positively received by all guests. On the second day of the forum there was a visit to the construction sites of the Aquapark and the Freestyle Centre in Minsk.

At the beginning of July 2013 another forum followed in Kaliningrad. There Architects and Planners were introduced to the topics "Structural waterproofing", "System construction of balconies and terraces", "Waterproof concrete" and "GEPOTECH".
