Schomburg will not be attending the Bau 2021 trade fair
An increasing amount of networking is now going to operate via digital channels
Now it’s official: System building material manufacturer Schomburg will not be taking part at Bau, the world's leading trade fair, which will probably be taking place in Munich from 11th to 16th January, 2021. The reason is the situation regarding the Corona virus, which is still uncertain and makes reliable planning for customers and employees seem unrealistic at present.
Schomburg has been an exhibitor at Bau for many years, and appreciates the event as an important get-together for the industry and a highlight every two years. However, during these times the main focus has to be on safety, a company spokesman has stated. At the moment it cannot be assumed that the situation will have eased sufficiently by January of next year for intensive and beneficial participation at the trade fair to take place.
Communication with customers and partners is very important to the company, particularly during these extraordinary times. This is why Schomburg is not only pushing ahead with continuous expansion of its sales team, but is also working flat out on increasing the number of digital contact points for customers and partners. The activities within the scope of the digital strategy will continue in accordance with the Ask Albert app. Various information relating to the Aquafin-RB400 sealing product has been added to the www.aquafin.de site, and a continuous stream of new content on the subject of tile, natural stone and screed application is being provided in the new tile blog www.schomburg-fliese.de.
